Compressed Air/Wind Turbine powered car? The Custer Car.
Regards poor efficiency from electricity, what if we use wind turbines to drive compressors directly and then use carbon air cylinder. Essentially a modern version of the Custer Car, pictured below, which did 500 miles at 35 mph. As against the modern Tesla electric car – with a battery costing £25k, weighing .4Ton and a [...]
Compressed Air Powered Chicken Gun Bird Strike Test
The chicken gun is an essential tool in the race to perfect a locally made component for the giant Airbus A400 military transporter, which must be able to survive midair collisions with overfed pigeons. Researchers at a unit of Denel in Kempton Park have used the gun – a 25m tube powered by compressed air [...]
The end of the compressed air car? Looks like it.
It sounds like a good idea: Use electricity to compress air, stuff it in a tank and use the power expelled by the air’s release to power a vehicle. Certainly a lot easier to understand than nano-constructed cathodes on a lithium ion cell!
Compressor powered motor!
Check out this little compressor powered a radio controlled car. Pretty cool, we thought.

"Fantastic service! I ordered the porduct on Monday and it was with me the next day."
